Tips to Set Up the Perfect Grilling Station this Summer

As we enter into the Summer season, all we can think about is spending evenings outside enjoying time with our loved ones. This is the time when catching up with your family and friends over a barbeque dinner gives an unmatched sense of joy, especially when it’s in your backyard!
If you are looking to build a grill station in your backyard, this is the right time to start. However, if you’re wondering where to start, we are here to help you streamline your project. In addition, we have compiled a list of the essential components and accessories you will need for a perfect grilling setup.
The Grill
What type of grill should you have? Well, the answer depends on various factors. You can narrow down your choice based on your cooking style, heating source, size of your family, space, and budget. There are different grill options available, such as charcoal grills, charcoal kettle grills, pellet grills, gas & propane grills, and much more you can view here. Add Counter Space
Having a functional counter space is going to really come in handy; that’s where you will prep and place your food. Adding a rolling cart or a built-in countertop could be great options. You may also consider setting a stainless steel restaurant prep table next to your grill if a pavilion covers your grill set up; otherwise, it will attract sunlight and become hot to touch. In that case, a granite countertop can be your safe bet. Granite is highly durable and can withstand any weather condition. We suggest selecting a light-colored granite as it will not absorb heat from the sunlight, unlike the dark-colored ones that tend to turn hot with rising temperatures.

Lighting
Let the sunset and the party keep going. Good lighting near your grill is vital for smooth food preparation during late night events. The perfect lighting will also help set the mood. You can choose from the plethora of lighting and light fixture options available according to your space and requirement. Some of these include pathway lights, LED candles, string lights, task lights, tiki torches, and so on. Along with choosing the proper lighting, positioning it is equally important. Ensure you set your lights in a way that they illuminate your task areas and do not cast shadows over them. We have durable flashlights that provide maximum illumination. Seating Arrangements
A comfortable and relaxing seating arrangement is a must-have. One can never go wrong with a traditional table and chair arrangement. For a casual and relaxed vibe, combine it with lounge seating. This makes it simpler for older kids to snack and play. Adding high chairs can come in handy if you have kids joining the party.
Other Tips to Keep in Mind:
  • Keep a fire extinguisher handy
  • Place 1-2 trash cans to avoid littering around
  • Prep your food in advance before your guests arrive
  • Arrange some fun games to keep the kids entertained - here are some of our favorites!
