DESCRIPTION
Keeping your lawn hydrated shouldn’t be a full-time job, and this Orbit battery-operated underground sprinkler timer does the work for you. It runs on 2 AA batteries, so you don’t have to worry about above-ground extension cords or burying electrical lines in your yard. The durable, waterproof casing lets you bury the programmable 1-zone timer in the ground and easily connect your underground irrigation hoses. The digital display and detachable timer make programming simple, and you can lift the timer out of its housing to set it up at a table or workbench. You are in control with multiple setting options: water once every day up to once every 32 days, water only on even or odd days, or choose the days of the week you’d like to water your lawn. The timer has 2 programs, and a budget program setting lets you use less water, which can help during water shortages and droughts. A rain delay keeps your yard from being watered in the rain, and the timer is compatible with a rain sensor and works with drip and soaker hoses. Run times can be changed from 1 minute up to 4 hours, so you can easily give the zones in your yard more or less water. The timer is suitable for controlling up to 4 valves. It has a black and gray finish, does not have a battery backup, is not expandable, is not compatible with computer software, and comes boxed.
