Key Control deadbolts features "SmartKey" re-key technology, either cylinder can be re-keyed in seconds, without removing the lock from the door. Top concealed cylinder provides one-key control for the property manager; lower exposed cylinder allows unique user keys for the tenant. Concealed key control cylinder has a unique patented keyway to provide increased security; rotate the cylinder cap to expose the cylinder for use. User cylinder utilizes the traditional Kwikset key way and keys, gear assembly enables both cylinders to lock or retract the deadbolt latch. This design includes 'BumpGuard" for improved security against lock bumping. DOOR PREP: 2-1/8" Crossbore; 1" Edge Bore; 1" x 2-1/4" Latch Face. DOOR THICKNESS: 1-3/4".
