This "Ives" CL21A four-way catch has a plate type strike. It is constructed of brass and is ideal for closet doors, access doors,hinged openings and numerous other applications. The strike slides between two stainless steel balls, which are under spring tension. As the strike engages, the door is held firmly shut.
