"Simpson Strong Tie" Trim-Head Decking Screw
Simpson Swan Secure S07162FJI Painted Swaneze Trim Head Square Drive Screw Ipe 350 pieces. Durable powder-coated finish painted heads blend with decking material. Small 0.23" diameter with trim head and type-17 point for fast starts. Offers coarse threads approximately 2/3 up the shank to draw the decking tight to the substrate. Pre-drilling recommended near board ends to prevent splitting. Choose stainless steel 316 for seaside applications and superior corrosion resistance. Simpson offers their Decking Screws in either Deck Packs of 350-count or Contractor Packs of 1750-count. Deck Packs contain 350 screws or enough to fasten 100 square feet when using 6" nominal boards on 16" centers. Contractor Packs contain 1750 screws or enough to fasten 500 square feet when using 6" nominal boards on 16" centers.
