Provides ARC fault, parallel, ground, Series, overload and short circuit protection. Required for bedroom receptacles effective January 1, 2002. Plug in design with color-coded screws and dual function test button. 120/240 V. 1 in space per breaker. Parallel protection - direct contact of two wires with opposite polarity Ground protection - arc between a single conductor and ground Series protection - arc across the break in a single conductor, which progresses to a ground or parallel arc Overload protection Short circuit protection
